SUSPENSION STUDY 06
Behavioral Geometry

A reclining surface held lightly within a linear frame.

The upholstered body forms a continuous plane that folds from seat to back in a single motion. Vertical channels structure the surface while allowing the body to settle naturally into the recline. The profile remains low and elongated, emphasizing rest rather than posture.

A minimal metal frame traces the perimeter without enclosing it, supporting the chair while keeping the volume visually open. The upholstery appears suspended within the structure rather than resting on it.

Each channel is individually formed and layered to maintain definition while gradually softening with use. The gentle angle supports a relaxed seated position suited for extended sitting.

Comfort is informal and unforced — a lounge posture that encourages stillness rather than attention.

Designed as a resting element within the collection — lighter in presence but consistent in language.
